Things are always cooking in Ms. Vizoso’s class. Students enjoy making delicious recipes and working together to create appetizing dishes. The best part is that they share these tasty masterpieces with others.
Music
Elementary Music Mastery meets twice a week to make beautiful music under the direction of Ms. Yirka, Ms. Raymat, and Ms. Ibette. They perform in various spectacular concerts throughout the year and learn how to play many new instruments and songs throughout the year.
Voice
Ms. Loly’s elementary choir meets twice a week to make beautiful music together. They perform in many concerts and cultural events. The best part is that they have fun while exploring their musical ability. Keep hitting those high notes!
Elementary Dance
Elementary dance mastery meets twice a week to practice and train under the direction of the experienced and the talented Ms. Danella Bedford. This advisory focuses on technique and becoming stronger dancers. The participate in competitions and various cultural events..
Art
Ms. Vazques guides these gifted artists to create wonderful masterpieces and enhance our school through visual arts. The students explore their artistic talent and share it with the school, all while having fun.
Civics
Conscientious students in Civics mastery are responsible for our school’s recycling program. They have also implemented and monitor the “Seal of Approval” to keep our school tidy. Civics is also responsible for our food drive. Thank you Mrs. Lopez and your hard working crew.
Track
Put your best paw forward! Coach Carlos keeps the running Cougars striving for success. Students in cross country train everyday and compete in local and statewide track meets.
Elementary Theater
Mr. Kessler guides his students to be young talented thespians. They compete in various showcases and have several performances throughout the year.
Legos
Mrs. Majors teaches her students how to build extraordinary Lego masterpieces from buildings, to houses, to cars. Students also learn some basic robotics. Keep on building!
Art History
Under the direction of Mrs. Martinez and Ms. C. Prieto, students are guided to appreciate the wonderful world of art. Students are learning how to appreciate and look at art from a historical timeline. Students will also study all kind of paintings from cave paintings to modern art.
Edible Garden
Great ideas are in bloom in Mrs. Frades’ Edible Garden advisory. Students are planting delicious vegetables and fruits. Students are really reaping with the sow! Sometimes they even share the food they grow with Cooking Mastery.
