CEA EXTRAORDINARY

Conchita Espinosa Academy's Public Relations Advisory has been running for eight years. Under the direction of Mrs. Carmen Santalo, sixth grade grammar and composition teacher, it is a communication tool that establishes awareness of achievements and events regarding Conchita Espinosa Academy. Students in public relations are motivated and constantly meeting deadlines. They are involved in enabling relationships with our community by creating press releases, taking photos, and conducting interviews. They learn journalism writing, participate in workshops, media and event planning, and media relations. Public Relations Advisory has invited several prominent members of our community throughout the years. These include Ana Carbonell, White House Chief of Staff; J.C. Bermudez, Mayor of Doral; Benjamin Leon II, CEO of Leon Medical Center; Cesar Santalo, internationally renown artist; Daniel Godoy, Vice President of Univision Network; and Lori-Ann Diaz, Vice President of Marketing for the Miami Heat. Last year, Mr. Antonio, helped the blog be fully bilingual.
